Corinne, I really do love the idea of this. As per our earlier communication I was disappiuonted that each was not an original painting as was a print. I do understand the implication for costs etc and I would have liked the option for the print, at the existing price, and maybe looking at what it would cost if it were an original signed painting? Obviously, depending on the cost, I might have still decided on the print, but at least I would have been able to decide for myself. Otherwise I think it is great thank you.

All the pieces in my South African Animal Alphabet range are created using my own hand-painted illustrations, which were then carefully scanned in to 'build' names. Each artwork is lovingly designed and professionally printed. So, while they are prints, they carry all the fine detail of the original artwork — just at a fraction of the cost!
As much as I’d love to hand-paint each name individually, it simply wouldn’t be sustainable (or affordable for most customers). That said, I completely hear you — and I do accept a limited number of special commissions for original, one-of-a-kind artworks. If that’s something you’d like to explore down the line, I’d be happy to chat!
