Let me be clear -- this is not just another calendar. It’s a beautiful, practical, and thoughtfully designed piece of art that’s as kind to Mother Earth as it is to your eyes. Each month features one of my photo-realistic bird artworks -- from the flamboyant and fearless to the quiet and quirky. South Africa’s birdlife is extraordinary, and this collection is a love letter to our feathered friends. And yes, once the month is over, those pages make gorgeous greeting cards or mini art prints! If you do not see your favourite bird in the collection -- do not fret! I'm sure to revisit this theme again in the future, as birds are my favourite subject to paint!

Even the wooden binder/hanger is a little piece of magic! Hand-crafted by my talented hubby, Alex, using "upcycled" wine barrel inserts. It’s magnetic, so you can stick it on your fridge, or simply hang it from a nail. And once the year’s over, this too can be reused in so many creative ways.
