This tongue-in-cheek printable coupon book is a great addition to the "Dad Pack" - a perfect, personalized gift for dad!
This is such a great idea to get the kids really involved and excited about Dad's gift. Make a little booklet for each child and come up with what they would like to gift Dad on his special day. And then HE gets to decide what he would like, and when...!
Here's what you need:
- Printed template (See Step 1)
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Your choice of a pens, markers, colouring pencils... to write in and decorate the booklet
STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR JOURNEY
Download and print a coupon book template. There are two different options to choose from (Remember - you can download either or both of the templates, and print them as many times as you like!). One template has everything you need to create one coupon book. Print on regular A4 printing paper in black & white.
Option 1: Blank Dad Coupons
With this option, you have creative liberty to come up with your own coupon gift ideas that Dad will love!
Option 2: Ready-made Dad Coupons
In this version, I came up with a few fun ideas for coupon freebies and designed the text layout of each of the nine coupons.
Download or print your template directly from here:
Option 2: Ready-made Dad Coupons
STEP 2: CUT CUT CUT
Cut out all of the elements on the page. You should have:
- A front cover
- One "with love from"-page
- Nine coupons
- A patterned square that will be the spine
STEP 3: GROW A SPINE
Place the pages in the order that you would them to appear. Then take the spine, fold it in half and place it over the left side of all the pages. Staple it in place.
STEP 4: CREATIVELY YOU!
Now you get to have some fuuun! If you're using the Blank Dad Coupons, it's time to come up with the coupon gifts for dad. Decorate the booklet to your heart's content! Remember to write who the booklet is from on the "with love from"-page.
STEP 5: TA-DAAA! NOW SHARE THE LOVE
Show off your version of Dad's Awesome Coupon Book (and maybe even his reaction when you give it to him!) by posting a pic on Instagram using #MyHappyCrafts. I would love to see it!
Until next time... Happy crafting!
