From the playful critters to the creative freedom my client gifted me (minus the praying mantis -- read all about how she got the boot, here!), this piece was pure joy to create! Here’s a little peek into the process, sped up so you can watch the whole story unfold in just a minute and a half:

I only accept a very limited number of commissions each year for originals like Lara's and Benjamin's forest-inspired baby name. Unfortunately, I do not have the capacity to take on any more of these this year (if only I could add hours to the day or duplicate myself...)!
