People, I'm telling you that I'm getting less sucky at selfies every year! Perhaps in the future, there will come a time that my collection of bad selfies will be so few, I won't even be able to compile a blog post...
Sigh... I can't really imagine a world where I fit my head and my painting onto a single screen; where our cat doesn't photobomb a product shoot; where I don't accidentally flip my camera view and take a photo of my four chins...
A girl can dream, though! And for now, the tradition lives on (because you shouldn't take Life - or yourself - too seriously!):
The pic on the right was one of my most popular images of the year - and the best selfie I have EVER taken! But of course, before I got there, I took about seven that looked like the pic on the left........
Just completed a watercolour and pen sunflower, that is now available as Downloadable Wall Art, in support of the relief efforts in the Ukraine.
I don't know... I just don't know.......
That face on the left is the stuff on nightmares! Trying to photograph my succulents on pallet wood to show off some of the quirky art that we have in our own home.
I cannot tell you how often this happens to me: I switch on my cell's camera to take a pic of something, but the view is flipped. And instead of realising that and fixing it, I take a selfie! In fact, when going through my best worst selfies of last year, I did a double take, thinking that I somehow managed to use this image then already. Turns out, I share a very similar oddity then too, and history just repeated itself!
Aaand again...
Not exactly a selfie... But also just not my fault!!! Attempting to get a professional work-in-progress pic of one of my SA birds on pallet wood.
Family photo... Lots of silly, but I adore these crappy selfies of us!
ENORMOUS HEAD ALERT!!! Just can't seem to get a selfie where it's possible to see the progress of my watercolour Pygmy Falcon, Small Packages, and my bright, smiley, happy face!!!
Blurry, but beautiful! At least my head fit in the frame...!
Until next year...
